New tea from a new friend

Recently I have met with some Koreans who are interested in a partnership with our engineering firm. It turns out that one of them lives in Yunnan province where he and his wife grow tea and make Pu'er from their farm. He has kindly sent some to me to try and it is quite nice. Here we share with you the experience:

When opening the Pu'er from its wrapping we can see a nice blend of colors. This tea is fairly recently harvested and not aged very long, so it is called "raw" Pu'er tea. It will need to be steeped much longer for the flavors to come out.

Ok so we've steeped it and it has a very light taste and much less earthy flavors compared to a "ripe" or aged Pu'er. We will add this tea to our collection. Thank you brother!
